The Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, Romania celebrates, in 2006, 35 years of teaching academic courses in Marketing. In this respect, the Faculty of Marketing within the AES organizes, in November 23-24, 2006, the International Conference „Marketing and Development: 1971 – 2006: 35 Years of Marketing in Romania”.

The Conference is open to all those actively involved as educators, researchers and practitioners from different companies, institutions, non-governmental organizations or professional associations. It’s main goal is to represent a moment of reference in the process of the marketing development as well as to be an agora debating the past, present and mostly the future of marketing in Romania.
